Female. 17. Someone who needs this blog because - I don't always say what I mean and I don't always mean what I say. And here I let it all out. Living life and loving it. <3

Wow.. It's really been a while since I wrote anything. Partly because I have so much going on and partly because I'm lazy. Haha. Anyway, I've joined this Science Research Programme, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before or something. Anyway, I got a project called iGenetics, something to do with researching the effect of genetics on character traits. Yeah, it might sound pretty basic, but we have to actually construct a program that will be able to predict all this. Which is kinda cool. You know, web-designing and stuff... =D And we get to do it at Nanyang Polytechnic, something like Junior College; where people sorta do their A levels or something, I'm not quite sure. This place is a school in which students can wear whatever they like and guys possess more than two earrings in one ear and assorted colours in their hair. (By assorted, I mean a mild assortment, not bubblegum pink or anything) This school incidentally has it's own McDonalds. Guess where I'll be having my lunch in near future?
There's also a down side to all this, as the only day I can go home 'early' (4 something) will be Tuesdays as the rest of the days will be fully packed with CCAs and HMT classes.
I'm still an Assembly Presenter. Not sure how well I'm doing as I've gotten comments that my pronounciation is horrible. Not too sure what I can do about that either, considering my diction has always been horrible. (To the extent when my mum actually thought she needed to cut my tongue to help me speak better, but luckily refrained from doing so) As long as someone understood me to the point in which they could tell that I have bad pronounciation, it can't be that horrible. I'm the co-emcee (Sonal, a Cambodian scholar is my partner-in-crime) for the Aesthetics Program on Monday. I have to perform for choir as well, in between presenting stuff..
Anyway, the main highlight of this post is CHOIR CAMP.
Seriously, I thought it was going to be horrible. It was quite good, to tell you the truth. As long as you go with the flow and get hyped up about stuff, it's actually quite fun. And I actually got the NCCs/St.Johns as my personal alarm clock. Though not totally willing on my part. Here's the thing, we were forced to surrender all our handphones to Mrs. Yeap and Ms. Quek for 'safekeeping' and I wasn't very happy as it was my only alarm clock for me to wake up early for a morning shower. However, the next morning; about 6.00+ the NCC's happily made their march along with atrociously loud commands and conveniently woke us up. I had my morning shower. Frankly speaking, Choir has the latest waking up time in comparison to all the other CCAs. It was 7 for the first day and 8 for the next. If that isn't late, I shudder to think what is.
I made quite a few new friends. And learned a lot of stuff about the choir members that I previously didn't know. I also found out that I am quite 'known' in class 403 because of one of my more exasperating (to put it mildly), seniors. It was a really enlightening fact, dislike mounts even more.
And yeah, if you guys can't understand some of the abbreviations, please do inform me. According to my father, I'm picking up the local slang at an alarming rate; though he meant that I never used lehs and lahs as frequently before. I thought I always did. After all, Manglish has them, and more too.
UNIQUELY SINGAPOREAN SLANG 1) Hack! (When someone wins a game with a lot of point difference) 2) Ex (expensive) 3) Lol (MSN speak) 4) Tiao (accompanied with sweat drop) 5) Ack Ack Ack (accompanied with the gesture of a bird flying by, used to express how 'lame' something is) 6) Pai seh (I know this is used in M'sia too.. but it's used more generously here)
Shall add more to list once I have less homework to finish.
Yup, I haven't finished my holiday hmwk yet.
