OMG.
I just realised.
How embarrassing it's gonna be to fail Emaths.
Oh well... just blame Mr. Lee only la.. Haiz.

This is a post inspired by April’s comment on writing an entry on cleaning washrooms and pantries in the lovely cluster of Hwa Chong Boarding School. All rights reserved. I do not own any of the characters below, except for my pathetic self. Any similarities to existing people or events are merely coincidences. Please don’t sue me.
One lovely night, as we were minding our business as usual; our peace and quiet was interrupted by an ominous knock on the door. The squeak accompanying the opening of the door was forbidding and caused fear to shoot to our very core. Arvil Lavigne’s retarded singing was interrupted with the entrance of an alien being. (or at least, alien to our room)
Zhang Yue.
She stepped into our room gingerly.
“Cluster meeting.” Were the words that escaped from her mouth, the words that permanently sealed our fate.
We were hoarded like sheep to the tiny space masquerading as our common area. Our cluster mentor took her seat in the middle of the yellow plush sofa and decided to speak, or so I assume; since there was sound from her mouth.
My poor grasp of Chinese enlightened me that what she was speaking was not gibberish, but actually some sort of delegation to clean the cluster.
“Oh no!” we thought.
“Oh no!” we said.
“Just do it!” our cluster mentor replied.
As we were a group of four, we were one of the only three miserable rooms who had the honor to clean the washroom.
Due to our limited knowledge of cleaning washrooms, we took upon ourselves the tedious job of using rags to polish the mirrors. We were overjoyed when the mirrors looked significantly cleaner than it previously was, when we squinted hard enough. Satisfied with the job well done, we proceeded to splash water on the sinks; thus guaranteeing its cleanliness. Well, we did clean the sides a little with the dishrag.
I have to admit, we started off with a rather optimistic note. We blasted music through the stalls, occasionally lip-synching as we worked, despite it seeming like a bad Disney-movie-reject impersonation. This of course, included Arvil Lavigne’s songs; of which I am ashamed to admit all of us once enjoyed.
The worst part was getting rid of the clumps of hair stuck to the drainage system. Squashing my fear down, I bent down and stared at it; willing my probably dormant telekinesis power to work when I needed it the most; then. It took me ten seconds to realize that my powers possibly were ineffective against hair and another ten to convince myself that I needed to actually form physical contact with that hideous thing to actually be rid of it.
I was NOT risking my chopsticks nor any utensil, stationery, etc. on the ridiculous object stuck to the ground. Neither was anyone else.
My valiant attempts to bat at it with a broom failed; as I only managed to push it into another corner. Hitting it did not make much difference as well; despite my usually-reliable foresight that it would disappear by itself should I project enough hatred on it.
I winced, realizing what I had to do.
I grabbed handfuls of toilet paper, in an attempt to reduce as much skin contact with dead hair cells as possible and snagged the stuff on the floor and threw it into the sanitary bin. Immediately after, I rushed to the sink and scrubbed my hands with as much hand soap as possible.
One down, five more stalls to go. Loop this and you get the idea.
After getting rid of the hair, we had to actually wash the floor. Brilliantly, this was achieved with a lot more splashing, and quite a bit of soap. However, I must concur that we attempted to clean the floor a little with the mop, and occasionally the broom. Of course, they remained as mere attempts and did not cause as much impact as our ingenious splashing did.
We wasted approximately 12353258354 litres of water in the entire process. In fact, I would like to add that it would probably have been cheaper for the boarding school to hire full time cleaners to clean the washroom than for us to wash it ourselves; considering the amount of electricity/water we wasted. This is especially because after washing the lovely toilet; we all took showers; trying to feel some semblance of cleanliness.
Consequently the washroom was dirtied again, after our use. Obviously, we weren’t going to clean it again; as it would have meant us taking another round of showers; leading us to once again cleaning it, and then showering, and then... you get the point.
So we slept at around 12, following our showers, not including the amount of time it took for our hair to dry. Also, many international calls were issued overseas following our educational activity to whine about cleaning the toilet.
It was a Monday night, thus we complained loudly to Miss Sia the next day. Note, we were all half-dead from our strenuous activity by then, having both tortured ourselves over the place we dubbed our washroom and waking up at 5.
We didn’t think it was that bad yet; considering we assumed that this would only take place once in a blue moon; and we would probably clean other parts of the cluster the following month.
Thus we were introduced to the pantry.
The pantry is another equally lovely place, of which is about a quarter of the size of our bedroom. It consists of a refrigerator, a water cooler (our lifeline), a double sink and assorted cupboards attached to the wall.
This refrigerator is shared by 20 people in our cluster. It is no surprise then that it stuffed to the brim with mostly dairy products. Or so we thought.
For not only were dairy products and perishable goods were inside our fridge, but; lo and behold! Fish! Dead aquatic animals were squashed beneath equally dead BUT processed animals (also known as can food).
The entire fridge positively STANK. (which is why I do NOT touch it) We emptied it, convinced everyone to take their stuff temporarily away and proceeded to actually clean it.
The bloody thing was actually bloody, with stains of unidentified substances emitting suspicious smells. Somewhere in my clumsiness, I managed to break a jar of chilli paste; thus making our job even worse. We used cloths in our attempt to clean the fricking thing before continuing to splash water on the thing again; in our trademark fashion.
Even the sink was scrubbed and the dusty-ish water cooler, cleaned.
So yeah, BOARDING SCHOOL ROCKS!!!
And please, if you did not detect the sarcasm above; attempt to obtain a functioning brain asap.
Operation getalife to begin in approximately ten days time.

You really know how pathetic life is when you stare at the computer screen and you see the internet connection moving at 1kb/s. It doesn’t merely end there, of course; but in fact, drops to an even more impressive 0.7kb/s. But then, all good things must come to an end; thus the reason behind my current speed of 0.5 kb/s.
That’s the story of my lovely wireless connection at Hwa Chong. Ask me again why I don’t go on MSN. And I might just consider committing serious bodily harm. (those kickboxing lessons have to come in use some time..)
I’m not going to talk about EOY now, but I’ll probably moon over it after the exams are done. Yup, I’m pathetic that way.
Oh yeah, someone thought I was fourteen years old today. I guess I grew somewhat, considering that my shooting juniors thought I was in Sec 1 a few months ago. I’m like, super wth; since I’m actually a hermit in comparison with half the class. And, oh; apparently it’s good to look young.
It’s just weird; because apparently all those who prefer to wear jeans are in lower secondary. I’m seriously going to wear something mature to church next time. There I was thinking that formal+++ stuff was not suitable for the House of God.
Boo.
I was supposedly mixed blood as well.... I must emphasize once again that I’m 100% Chinese. My grandfather rowed a lousy boat from China! Well, at least across part of the straits... I think. Okay, fine. He rowed a boat from somewhere to somewhere. Boats are now supposedly ubiquitous. =) (random)
I have no living relative of whom are not Chinese, and yet I’m the only one in my family who gets labelled as mixed. Well, so does my brother; but he’s an exception. Wait... I’m not sure about my sister either...
I read Oofuri for the past few days. And Soul Eater. Of which I completely blame Zhiling’s influence on. And lots of fanfiction. So. Erm. No studying.
But I am stressing out on the fact that Lit and Bio are on the same day. That and the fact that I still can’t tell apart P1 and P2.
11 DAYS 15 HOURS 35 MINUTES and er... something seconds to go till the end of EOY.
Found this!: (LOL, an entry from last year!)
Anyway, again, before I mention my random number of the day - I would also like to write about what happened with Sports Day and my interest in entering the Cheerleading squad. First of all, I had already made up my mind to join and was so pysched up that I couldn't even sleep. Of course, I also was quite excited because it was Jing Li's birthday the next day and I was wondering what his reaction was when he received the RM10 top up card. (It was, according to him - his first birthday present ever. He even tried to pay me for it!!! And as gratefulness was concerned, he's still the very old same. I had also placed a bet that Sherilyn would get him a birthday present, and being the perfect idiot he was, ((trying to stop himself from being disappointed from expecting too much)) he bet against me. It's his loss anyway, I just get a free drink)
However, when I asked Yik See about the cheerleading squad, expecting her to tell me that someone else with higher qualifications (of sorts) had already replaced me - I was told that it was too late for the team to accept anyone new as they had already trained all the steps for about a month, and I wasn't going to learn everything in two days. After all, I'm no genius with microscopic memory and the athlethic skills to back me up.
And Green House got third place for Sports day, losing to puffy, ballerina skirted Yellow House cheerleaders and the Red squad. Losing to the Red cheerleaders was all right and well as they were rather impressive but Yellow House positively sucked. And when I mean 'positively sucked' I mean that they were so horrible that words cannot describe the hideousness of what they did. Although I will gallantly try my best.
They had the layered, cat hair-style that looked as if their hair had once contained some sort of explosives. They also wore ill-fitting white t-shirts with gaudy letterings on the front and back proudly proclaiming that they were members of the Yellow House cheerleading team. The worst part of all was the fact that they wore puffy, ballerina yellow 'skirts' (and I use that term loosely) and white pantyhose.
My first sight of them was when I saw one of the members running down the stairs - and you can imagine how the skirt must have looked like at the moment: one giant pompom. And their pompoms were as small as their fists. The worst part was the fact that I was 'rewarded' the glimpse of the cheerleaders' undergarments. And they were NOT wearing shorts underneath, but plain ol' panties. And they were girls approximately 20 pounds heavier than me. At least - they looked as such. It was definitely no pleasant sight.
Along with the ugly uniform was the horrendous cheer. After all, there is only so many times you can repeat the "Hey Mickey, you're so fine" cheer before it gets positively annoying. I was tempted to set fire to their skirts and watch. Besides that, they had really... weird... moves. I just couldn't understand nor make out the words they were saying due to the strong Chinese accent. Nor did any of my friends...
I guess they probably won second place because the teachers had to register how much effort they put in for the entire thing. I mean, custom designed shirts and RM100 skirts along with 'unique' pompoms... Or maybe it was just the panty shots...
What I did for Sports Day... Well, that's another entry for another time.

AMATH EXAM OVER.
(I can't believe i forgot what alternate segment theorem was.. I actually knew what it meant, but I forgot its fricking name so I left the reason blank)
So, yeah; that's like one day down and 14 more days to go!

WOAH.
I'm super surprised at my Amaths test marks. I mean, I did the most impossible thing ever; I GOT TWO DIGITS!!!!
I mean, like seriously; I totally didn't expect to exceed one digit for the stupid trigo test; but I did! Well, I got 10/25 so I can't say much; but wow - two digits!
Freaking hell, and two people scored full marks.
It's just... WTF
I'm out of descriptions, sheesh...
And Miss Siva read my essay in class again. I don't get it, seriously. For one thing, tonnes of people got higher than me (like April) and she picks on me once again. AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH I PROTEST SHE IGNORES ME!!!!
I'm seriously contemplating imitating a rock wall in class just to escape teachers' attention.
Especially during Bio.
Then again, it's sort of my strategy to ignore the teacher for most part of the class and ask a question to seem as if I pay attention. I worked so far. I'm supposedly a very attentive student.
And yeah, I got a distinction for IMC! Go me! (I failed AMC though, and it was the easiest test... lol) I think most of us mostly got certificate of participation for SMO... Except Nick K who MISSED SMO when he would probably pwn the exam. (geniuses, really.)
Which reminds me of some equally super pro people... (*cough* *cough* you know who you are) who solved the questions in my little coffee-stained AMath book and was complaining they missed out 2 s.f.
Makes me wonder why I even qualify for the Express Stream. >_<
Marks (So everyone can feel better abt theirs... =.=)
AMATH - 10/25
CHEM - 24.5/30

Erm.
Super dead for AMath.
A guarantee loss of 6 marks already and not counting the other stupid mistakes made.
On a lighter note, laughed till almost died during EL today. No joke. There were like tears coming out of my eyes and my stomach hurt so much I thought I was going to pass out. Yeah, so if I die from the stitch in my side, I shall blame the Male Section of 302.
Seeing Jun Yong say that he wanted to slap Zhen Ling was a super lmao moment; especially when he had the very fatherly accent. And Mao with his "motherly" acting; just wow. Nick Khaw actually went to "sniff" Wei Ming's shoes, to prove it's "coolness". Really, I thought I couldn't stop laughing. It was made even worse when Miss Siva emphasized once again the main point of the entire short play.
Mr. Lee is going to replace Mr. Lim as our Bio teacher. I think it's super unfair that all our Science teachers will change from next year onwards. After all, our Chem teacher was first Mr. Lim, our Bio teacher was once Mr. Arthur Lim and our Physics teacher, now Mr. Chan will also be changing to Ms. Whatsits. No offence, though, I just have bad memory for names.
And Mr. Lee is a very GUY teacher. I'm pretty sure most of the guys already love him to death. Us girls, well; we try to remind ourselves that we're still in the same plane of existence when he addresses the class as "gentlemen...... and ladies." or some sort.
But the worst part of all was that he know's my name. How do teachers do this to me???

I can’t believe I re-watched Spirited Away again.
Haku is so dreamy...
Now, if only I don’t feel like a pedo whenever I watch the movie... =.= Oh well, there’s still Howl’s Moving Castle; (*fangirls*) and Miyazaki’s new movie, whenever it decides to come out.

2) Finish D. Grayman
3) Finish Soul Eater
4) Re-read Bleach
5) Re-read HnG
Agh. I miss Ragnarok.. T_T

Today we had AMath and Chem lessons.
Which didn't make sense, since it was a Saturday and I usually wake up about like 10+? And i have to wake up at 6, instead. I really hated it that I had to spend two bloody hours travelling to school for a two and a half hour session on Maths and Chem. Especially since Chem was a test. But really, had no other choice - since MONDAY was supposed to be a Lit day, ended up clashing with AMath test; Tuesday Oral and Wednesday.. Something or other? Which means I have NOT gone back early for the entire two weeks that CCA stopped! Basically, we're gonna have more lessons OUT of school time than IN school time with all the friggin remedials.
Chem was pretty much okay, wasn't as bad as expected. And I spent the entire AMath lesson redoing for the THIRD time my Ex6G and Ex7E because I FORGOT to bring it again. I think I'm going to be super pro in doing the few questions on proving. (and on proving alone)
EMath that I did on Friday was lousy. For one thing, I did it in the detention centre; where tonnes of people passing by asked me why I was in detention AND Xinmin Primary celebrating something or another whilst singing a weird Malay song on the top of their voices.
So yeah, I might be the only one in class who's going to flunk a lousy EMath paper made by Mr. Authur Lee. Go me. Along with lousy SS marks (7/12!!) and another dead paper in Bio (wtf is with tissue anaerobic respiration AFTER death? aren't dead animals just DEAD?); my CA2 marks are going to be completely beautiful.
Now all I have to pray is that EOY results won't be as crappy as this.

I FINISHED EOY HIGHER MOTHER TONGUE PAPER!!!!
And if you didn't get the message, (which is quite impossible)
I'm now listening to Good Charlotte.. Strange how so few people are into rock here. All I hear are Disney/Ballad-ish/Anime stuff. Not that I don't like them, but good old rock, well, rocks.
By the way, just looked through some of my juniors' *cough* *cough* blogs and realised how emo some lower secs are. Really, being emo does not equate cool. Like serious.
On the side, just a little comment on AMath; yeah, it really sucks. And I really thought we'd get back our freaking SS papers, but it's pushed to the next week. Oh yeah, the exam I took today also made me miss an intensive Physics class which will force me to replace on God know's when. I say God know's when because I'm going to busy most of next week as well.
Mon - Lit extra class
Tues - EMaths paper
Wed - ???
I can't believe that I was basically ecstatic when I got to go back at 2.15. Yeah, it sort of sums of my freaking life as a freaking scholar. Being a scholar is OVERRATED. I don't study all the time, really; April can testament to that. I'm always glued to the com reading fanfiction or assorted comics on MangaFox. (FMA ROX! ZOMG!) Hmm.. perhaps will one day list all the stuff I'm immersed in.
Monday's Bio test studying shall be pushed to tomorrow. =D
And if anyone sees me studying in school, it's because I absolutely refuse to do so at home where the computer is READILY ACCESSIBLE.
Ooh. My playlist's at Hoobastank.

I just went to school and someone just suddenly bursts out laughing at me. *glares*
Anyway, I watched John Tucker Must Die with Shuk and I was lmao the entire time. (If you watched the show, I quote:
"Be a Tree!" *John T. waves hillariously*
"I'm not even on a date with him and he still manages to get my skirt off."
Seriously cool bonding cartoon. =)

The worst part about today is that the guys in class has suddenly shot up like bean poles. =X
I'm like waaaaaaay short compared to everyone else... And they're supposed to be tall enough already!!!
Anyway, today during recess I went to school to hang out with everyone. The prefect asked us to leave the class as usual - I think the prefects hate me already... Recess was pretty much normal, got to talk to Jonas for like the first time ever. And apparently, he thought I was mixed too. Everyone in class is super tanned coz of Merdeka dancing, except for the few who ponteng all the time. =.= And for once, I'm "fairer" than some people, if that can be considered fair. Aryl darkened like God knows how many shades, Wei Ann's actually darker than me..!
Mei Yin cut her hair again, Shermaine's basically the same, Michelle's hair is actually unstraightened (though I think it was like that for quite a while, just didn't comment on anything), Shu Ting looks the same - well so does everyone else. Just that Sue San looked a lot darker... 0_o
I even talked to Jia Rong, who undoubtedly feels neglected by Zheng Dong.. XD
I really missed everyone, with all the pervy jokes and the constant craziness. (Omar made up a song from one of the Merdeka themes with Afiq as a focus in Malay.. LOL) Everyone's so lively and we're always having fun - to the point where we basically don't pay attention in class. (Esp. Moral last year where we all cluster at the back while the teacher teaches in front, then all we do is copy notes off certain hardworking people.)
After school, of which I dutifully waited for everyone to come out - (I saw Wee Kiat while waiting, he doesn't know that I went to SIngapore =.=. And he's still as muscular as ever. He had the most interesting of conversations with Mr. Lim today... Really didn't know that Mr. Lim was such an avid bodybuilder) we went to eat Pan Mee in front of 7-11. Really fun, we all were talking and eating - and laughing at each other. I was like struggling to eat without splattering most of the soup on the table as Shuk and I shared a bowl. I went with Shuk, Wei Ann, Shermaine, Mei Yin, Ivan, Marcus, Keith, Vincent and Fong. Omar and Aryl didn't go - fasting. They went home to sleep. (Besides, I think the noodles weren't halal neways)
So.. WOW. I just missed everyone. =)
(and I bet people must think I don't have friends in S'pore or something, considering how often I go back to school =.=")

It's Monday and I'm already feeling jittery.
This Friday's prelims and haven't even started studying yet.
In three weeks time there's EYE and I still don't get Geometrical Proofs.
Next week there an AMath test and I still can't understand the chapter.
Next week there's also a EMath test and an Chem test that I don't know anything about.
in less than two weeks time there'll be a Bio test on Respiration and Excretion which I didn't pay attention in class for.
And now, I'm reading comics online.
