In all three of the places I went, there's quite a bit of highlights in all three of them.
In Youth Camp, there's the part about how great it was and how AWESOME it is not to embarrass myself this year. I did, however, perform my yearly (apparently) ritual of crashing into Yohann, despite my fevered prayers NOT TO. There was also a minor devil in the shape of a cute, harmless little girl.
In Singapore, there's the two adorable little girls, Shuk's cousins of whom managed to butcher my name and drag me about. Also, the part where we got horribly lost and spent a few hours walking about, with little idea of where we were. And the shopping.
In Port Dickson, there's the verdict I made after "enjoying" the lovely seaside and its attachments. Along with my cousin's lovely beach wedding (omg! so romantic!) where he almost lost the bride's ring in the sand when they were dancing.
So yeah. Where to start... I wonder?
I guess I'll put some pics up first... =D just so you get the idea. (CHECK FACEBOOK!)
somewhat.
Although I didn't really take many photos in Youth Camp, and it being super classified and all wouldn't allow me to put them up anyway.
Also, watch me fangirl about two movies I watched yesterday..
200 Pound Beauty
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
200 Pound Beauty wasn’t as annoying as I thought it would be. And the guy was quite hot in the movie, even if he wasn’t quite so good looking on film. ‘Cause if any of you poor girls missed it, he’s super strong...! (he kinda pushed a lot of people away effortlessly, if you know what I mean...) And he’s talented. In the movie, I mean. Because the concert for AMMY looked pretty cool to me.
K-movies aside, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time was great!
Okay, so it wouldn’t appeal to 50% of the existing human population, the XY chromosomes, to be specific. But It totally appealed to me. It’s classic Hayao Miyazaki though. He kinda likes the prospect of requited love but some sort of weird circumstances that manage to separate the protagonists anyway. Look at Spirited Away, The Cat Returns and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. They all have the same theme. Only perhaps, Howl’s Moving Castle, which wasn’t quite his idea in the first place, and is a huge variation to Diana Wynne Jone’s actual version ended classically happily ever after.
Chiaki was super cool though... Makoto looks a little like the heroine from the Cat Returns and Saya from Blood +.... Speaking of manga and anime, someone PLEASE prod Ninomiya Tomoko into releasing chapter 127 of Nodame Cantabile before I fall into withdrawal syndrome.
Ooohh.. For Death Note fans:
