DIED FOR HMT.
Especially essay section.
I think I wrote out of point.
Again.
PS: Mdm Yeo is super duper truper nice!!! I'm totally going to shoot myself if I flunk SS this time.
PPS: WJ & ZY were both out of commission today, both apparently having high fevers, so much so their body temperature has to be monitored by hostel stuff, and are both from the same room, and are both staying two rooms away from me... Swine flu...? 0_o
PPPS: If you don't see me on Monday, I have either died from suicide due to fear of SS/mental torture from HMT or have contracted swine flue and will be dying anyway.

Superman by Five for Fighting
I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
I'm just out to find
The better part of me
I'm more than a bird...i'm more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It's not easy to be me
Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I'll never see
It may sound absurd...but don't be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed...but won't you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
It's not easy to be me
Up, up and away...away from me
It's all right...you can all sleep sound tonight
I'm not crazy...or anything...
I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
Men weren't meant to ride
With clouds between their knees
I'm only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me
Inside of me
Inside me
Yeah, inside me
Inside of me
I'm only a man
In a funny red sheet
I'm only a man
Looking for a dream
I'm only a man
In a funny red sheet
And it's not easy, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...
Quite old already la, but thought of it again after 311/410 performance.
I cried the first time I heard it wei... so touching.... =(

OMG.
HMT PAPER TOMORROW.
AGAIN.
I really hope I don't flunk this one and write out of point. Once more.
Shall comment on an extremely long 3 hour Lit session another time, when cranial contents are in functional order. Planning to think entirely in MT, hoping I won't spend half my time translating, like I did LAST TIME. =.=

Becca is tired
Went to J8 today. Was planning to go to the library to study but ended up wasting quite a bit of time. Instead of going to the library, we slacked from like 12 to about 2 something. Even then, after we went to the library, there was virtually no space available and we had to squash ourselves to a tiny little corner in front of an utility cupboard. Pathetic really.
Have decided I have graduated from young adult books permanently.
They can't get any shallow/mundane/cliche/idiotic than they already are. Especially books with prissy high school girls from the cusp of the elite society and their dirty little secrets. Pathetic really. And it's kinda sad because the ones who read books are such are 11 year olds, and are still exposed to this sort of soft porn.
Pop culture sucks.
From Twilight to Gossip Girl. Someone shoot me.
Anyway, ate a lot of stuff, bought a lot of junk and is now pretty much broke again. Got Joy's birthday present only to realize most of us won't be around during her actual birthday. I can't tell whether she's going to be happy about it or otherwise, both she and April have very weird views on birthday celebration, after all.
Also went to the arcade to see this guy consecutively pwning the machine and getting a whole array of soft toys. Which is kinda weird because I don't really know what he could possibly do with so many Winnie-the-Poohs/Pinocchios/Mickey Mice and x numbers of mint flavoured mentos sweets. Starting to kinda appreciate the game after I realised there's actually a strategy behind it. I would have tried it though, if the prizes were something other than dust collecting ornaments and teeth rotteners... (though I'll probably would have lost, now that I think about it)
And MT Mid Years is this Thursday. Somehow it doesn't seem as scary as Prelim had previously. And I kinda... flunked prelim. Well, at least the essay section. What really freaks me out is SS, because I seriously suck at it; although I do enjoy the subject unlike a gazillion other people who probably thinks I'm a weirdo for even tolerating it.
...........
Off to read more manga. =D

Read the Hero series by Moira J Moore today, and totally loved it.
It's actually a book about a girl who's a Shield, someone who mentally protects a Source when a Source is channeling energy. A Source is kinda like a natural disaster compass who prevents calamities from happening. Sorta like the Weather Warden series, now that I think about it.
It's really really cute because the main character is a stoic, kickass person who hates her Source, who's a guy that everybody seems to like. And Karish, the Source is actually quite a nice person and hates all the attention people heap on him, just wanting to be a normal guy. It's different in a sense that Lee, the main character is nothing like to usual fiery, brave protagonists. Of course, she's courageous, but she keeps her emotions very much in check; a huge contrast to the emotional Karish.
Of course, there's lots of stuff other than their relationship, but their chemistry is so adorable, I can't resist fawning over it.
Can't wait for the next book this September!!! <3

Before I forget (becauseIpromisedPriscilla), today we had an English lesson on narratives. (which was a godly blessing considering we have been doing oral non-stop since the beginning of term 3, but had done nothing to help me in my oral whatsoever, since I probably FAILED it. And this side note is getting a little too long...)
ANYWAY.
Mr. Cheng was talking about narratives, and how the best protagonists were based on people author's knew, so they had tne entire character in their mind even before they write their story. (And there was also this weird word in medias res or something that he talked about but I kinda forgot) Well, apparently when students name the protagonists, they actually give the true name of the people they base off from, only varying it by changing the consonants, such that Sharon Tham became Tharon Sham.
So I heard Zhiling messing about with other people's names before she started laughing and went, "Priscilla, your name..."
To the illiterate,
Priscilla Too would become
Triscilla POO.
Then all of us just kinda started laughing, Cilla, in particular, who practically laughed the entire lesson away partly because she was also in a good mood. (wonder why? =D=D=D) I think both Hui Ting and Priscilla cried laughing..... lollllll..
And oh, I got caught by Mrs. Lee again. This time was for socks, yesterday, hair. And whilst other people like HUITING and TANGYANG weren't wearing XMS socks, I was caught merely because it was BELOW MY FRICKING ANKLE. When I pulled it up, I had to buy socks ANYWAY, because Mrs. Lee wasn't satisfied with my magically reappearing socks, which in truth, wasn't quite my fault because it usually drops below ankle by itself. So anyway, I was forced to pay $3 to buy a new pair of socks, L SIZED and write my name down.
The stupid thing was, those who weren't wearing xinmin socks had to take off their old socks and put on the new ones. I didn't know that, and I took of my socks and threw them away with the others DESPITE IT PERFECTLY ADHERING TO SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Then when I went back to class, Mr. Lee was already inside and I was forced to share a book with Priscilla to do some Human Reproduction questions... And as the lesson proceeded, he boasted about his IT skills and his ability to type more than 100 words per minute. Impressed, I asked him to demonstrate and he tried typing without looking at the keyboard, showing off ("I can also type like this!") and wrote:
Revecca, you evil chi...
It went something like this..
Me: Mr. Lee, you can't even spell my name right!
Mr. Lee: Whatever! Your name is now Revecca!
.... (later on)
Mr. Lee: How many of you have been to moodle?
Me: But you only have notes to one chapter.
Mr. Lee: Of course, you cannot expect me to upload everything all at one shot, can you. Actually you guys are very lucky, you know. Because this moodle actually gives you a step up before everybody.
Me: Yeah, for one chapter.
Mr. Lee: Rebecca! You very evil! I know, I'm calling you Revecca from now on!
Which brings the origin to the blatantly horrific misspelling of my name.
.... And is used on Huiting's blog, if you noticed.
Haiz, and EMaths was a nightmare. I'd be grateful if I passed. I'm just trying to make myself feel better that there'd probably be only probability question in the whole 'O' lvl EMath paper.

Becca has flunked oral.
!!!
Madam Abbey CORRECTED me. (which apparently is hardly a common occurence in oral examinations) which means that I was so atrocious she felt the need to inform me of my mistakes.
And if that isn't already enough, she asked me who my English teacher was!!!
So people, if you see my picture in the oubitiury for the next feel days. At least you know the cause of death.

200# post!
Anyway, seems like Chinese Dance got GWH AS WELL.
So yeah, congrats to them.
And ELDDS, who got a silver! Which was great too.
Oh yeah, went to MSN for the first time in practically ages, and there was this weirdo who added me.
He said, "Hi babe,"
and when I went, "Who are you?" (because there was a friend of mine who had the exact same name as he did, but he certainly NEVER calls me that)
And he said, "I dunno, you added me." (!!!!)
AND, "Wanna see my xxxx?"
Instant block-dom.
Why do I seem to always get the weird perverts????
Even on facebook, there was the time when I added this guy because he seemed familiar, as in, he was friends with quite a few people from my old school.
AND HE FLASHED HIMSELF ON HIS PROFILE PAGE.
(and that was not the only time. 0.o)
WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. REALLY.
On a very, very different side note, my brother's leaving for LSE this September. And it's gonna be really sad because I'm pretty sure he's gonna come back with a faux angmoh accent, a mad fondness for tea and a undescribable hatred for American football. So.. Gonna miss him. Not that I'll ever admit that to his face. Ever.
And my sis's email got hacked. Her msn's account's sending invitations to porn websites for others to "have a good time" with her. Kinda scary. Perhaps its a family thing to get tortured online?
Oh, oral tomorrow. I'll probably screw up, because I apparently have a lisp that prevents me from proper pronunciation of 'th' consonants. Which means that I mess up Vivath's name quite often. My 'the' sounds like 'duh', and no matter how hard I try, I doubt I will ever budge from sounding as if I was mocking the examiner with my constant 'duh's. And apparently, colloquialism, "lah"s were completely forbidden.
Whatever-LAH.
PS: Huiting, I am IMPRESSED. =D

CONGRATS GUZHENG FOR GOLD WITH HONORS!!!!
Anyways, just realised the first paper for MYE is actually MT. So I'm kinda slacking and ignoring it. It is, after all, ten/nine days away, and it's practically impossible to study for a language subject anyway, so I'm not really bothered. (despite the fact that I failed my P1 in Prelims because I kinda wrote out of point)
And oh, today I had like four hours of free period (sorta) 'coz two teachers didn't come, namely Mr. Cheng and Mdm. Norliza. Due to the two hour humanities slot, half my day actually consisted of me trying to complete assigned homework, instead of actual class. Quite pathetic, actually.
Which also reminds me of Physics test. Which I studied for. And STILL GOT THE SAME MARKS WITH HUITING WHO DIDN'T. And all the mistakes were CARELESS and nothing to do with me not knowing the content. It's really annoying when you loose >4 marks because you somehow punch the wrong numbers into your calculator, ridiculous actually....!
Mr. Lee also set up this Moodle site, which is kinda cool; with courses and stuff - if you discount the fact that it is practically the third file sharing, interactive media e-learning site that he put up for us. I guess he's kinda nice/hardworking, since he had to completely reupload everything in the three different sites he made up. (EMB, Google Apps, Moodle)
"Very POWERFUL right?" *cue evil laughter*
And his Bio test got POSTPONED. AGAIN. I was actually studying for it, making notes and stuff - before realising I was mugging the wrong chapter. And when I worked on the right one, he JUST HAD TO PUSH IT FORWARD. Which means, although we have only two tests this week, excluding stuff from HMT, there will be a week sometime in the future when we will have MORE than the usual workload of tests.
(and I almost fell asleep during Bio again... dunno why, it's really interesting, but my eyes always seem to want to close during Bio..)
Tomorrow's Chemistry test and I'm still not quite sure what to study... =.=
Ooh. Read this DM/HG fanfic by Gravidy which totally rocked. She's really the only reason I read DM/HG stuff at all.

Becca is omgwtfzomg-- ALIVE
Apparently, not updating my blog for less than a week classifies me as DEAD.
I can think of a few people who have already passed death and rotting stage, if that were so.
Anyway, haven’t been online lately because I was busy playing DS on comp. A few lame games, but interesting enough to occupy my time to the extent I have not done anything whatsoever for the upcoming Physics test. 0_0
Said games are actually the Pheonix Wright attorney thinghy and Digimon World DS. I’ve played both for more than 12 hours straight for two days, so I’m pretty much bored of it already. I’ll probably pick it up once in a while, but my period of “crazy obsession” has died out.
Now I’m going to read all the manga/fanfic that I missed out the past few days. Ta!

Becca is disappointed.
I have just realised that I have become abysmal at writing, at best.
Indeed, once upon the time, the seed of the skill of relatively coherent word crafting was planted upon me. However, it had seemed that it remained dormant, probably because it lacked the brain cells needed to nourish it before blooming. Perhaps it simply refused to, knowing what an admittedly pathetic host I am.
I used to write quite well. Or at least, quite well for a twelve year old.
God, I hope my writing improves. Or I’ll never be able to dabble in journalism.
Oh, lit was hillarious today.
And I borrowed an umbrella from someone, only for it to stop raining once I possessed it. =.=
PS: Hm. planning to edit The Red Iris, a story I wrote when I was 11.

LOVE STORY by TAYLOR SWIFT SUCKS.
I can’t believe that it was played like four/five times during Homecoming yesterday. Including the XGT performance over the p.a. system. I was so annoyed at how the song seemed to be driveled into every breathing being’s system considering that even the previous day, Love Story was played like TWICE during the Media dry run. Annoying.
When I heard it the first time, I kinda liked it. When I heard it the second, (within two minutes of the first time I heard it) I thought it was still okay. I beared it all towards the nth time I heard it (due to it being a certain friend’s ringtone) and couldn’t stand it anymore. Our Song is waaay more meaningful. Read it and weep!
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says, "Baby is something wrong?"
I say, "Nothing I was just thinking
How we don't have a song," and he says
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again
I was walking up the front porch steps
After everything that day
Had gone all wrong or been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well, on my way
To my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again
I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song
'Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
'Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date man, I didn't kiss him and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again
Play it again, oh, yeah, oh, oh, yeah
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I wrote down our song
Nicky agrees with me too! So I’m not the only one hating another pop fad, again. =.=
Anyway, I was so hyped up after Homecoming day, (BECAUSE WE RAISED $1410!!!!!!!!) that I actually skipped and dragged E1 about after that. We went to like AMK Hub just to enjoy the aircon and stuff and was forced to rush back once again.
Homecoming day was kinda fun, except for the few hours that some people kicked me off my station and dubbed me a temporary retiree. I had quite a lot of fun puttering about the stations within our own tent that I DIDN’T VISIT ANY OF THE GAME STALLS. Except for Haunted House, which I determinedly refused because I always find myself dripping with water after every time I exit a haunted house, regardless of what country purported Haunted House resides in. Jolene, Wei Kang, Tang Yang & co. asked me to go into the pub, but I refused because I was too lazy. Which I totally regret now that it’s over! I could have played the water gun stuff as well, but I didn’t, being typical stupid me.
Anyway, the ice-cream sold well for the first one 1/2 hours. After that, it was reduced to lumps, but still had business. After 4, it was undistinguishable slops that I told the people i/c to call it yoghurt instead. But really, we were getting lots of complaints that our ice-cream helpings were too generous (courtesy of Darren L) and the fruits were too much. So we cut down everything by half, even the banana, only to still get complaints on its size. We did, however, have people complaining that our ice-cream portions were too small, but it was mostly made by some aunties who came by.
And P@x this year was totally gigantic. It practically sold everything there was to sell, and at affordable prices, whereas ours were pathetic in comparison to theirs. Most of our success, apparently, seemed to be because we had quite a few of self-proclaimed popular people in our class... lol. Who kinda forced all their juniors/friends.
I also wanted to get like hairspray, but when I saw those getting their hair done, with their eyes tightly closed, head bent over, body hunched, it looked more like torture to me; so I was kinda scared and got away quickly. I didn’t spend much money at then end, only like using less than $20 and dumping the rest into the class’s box.
At the end, when they were counting money; (April was saying how it was impossible for us to get even $500 because the $2 counted then only reached $100+ and it seemed we had very little money left in the box) I almost cried because it would mean that I was a complete failure on our GRADUATING year. So I was freaking out as I counted the $1 coupons, so much so I had to count the same stack four times just to make sure that I had the correct amount.
And when it passed $1000 and I thought it was a joke. Really. But we managed to get way above 500% of our cost. I think. ‘Coz we haven’t compiled all our receipts together yet. If I’m not wrong, Chelsea’s doing that part...
Oh, I’m going to Anderson JC’s Homecoming today. Wonder if it’s going to be cool.
Physics? What Physics test?

Becca is rejuvenated.
TODAY WAS FUN.
I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I definitely liked staying back to deco our tent. (eventhough it only involved me tying balloons to pillars and cutting/drawing fruits which no one will probably notice.) Well, it was really entertaining the entire time; at least for me, especially when Darren L had the idea of using a throw thinghy (dunno the name) to sort of hook the string of the banner onto the metal railing. So Jefferson did the honors... and we watched. Also, when everyone had a chance to play with the balloons, I was able to discern those with *cough* little finesse and balloon blowing ability.
(Darren L managed to do the double balloon thinghy...! 0_o)
Xiaoqi did this super cool menu thinghy with highlighters and really cute fruits whilst Hui Ting proved that she had some resemblance to talent as she drew out strawberries and stuff. And if you notice the balloons we put up kinda had faces? It was all Jiayun's idea. I SO wanted to steal one and take it home. (and people actually started thinking we were selling balloons after that)
Anyway.... Homecoming aside. I kinda waited until 7++++++ until choir ended, to eat out with E1 and Cam and YT, and Mr. Chew was forced to pei me the entire time. Unsurprisingly, still got a lot of people from our class still hanging around school. I think we just might as well camp there already, considering the amount of time we stay there...
And we're ending school at 5 tomorrow? HOW?
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO STAYED
(in no particular order, except from the freshness of my undeniably unreliable memory)
JiaYun.XiaoQi.HuiTing.DarrenT.DarrenL.WeiMing.NichLam.Jefferson.Liangxin
Also, the drama people who helped, eventhough they have CCA... =X

And those who dropped by or stayed partway through.. =D

And those who came by late and helped blow/blowup baloons

Lastly,
Ms. Yeo for being such a great sport and letting us skip half of our EMath lesson
and
Mr. Chew for letting us junk all our crap on his table
But when everything goes right... it only means tomorrow is going to be a horrible day.
Dammit.
And I'm NOT pessimistic.
Btw, it's not called 7th inch legend anymore. It's too disgusting, they say. Anyway, the satay stick is 8", not 7". i miscalculated. =.=

DGB SUCKED MAJOR ASS. The movie I mean.
Shows why WESTERN AND ASIAN DOES NOT MIX IN A MANGA LIVE ACTION.

Becca is frantic
Two more days..
Then END OF HOMECOMING.
And I can throw away this uber thick stack of papers on Homecoming that I keep..
Urgh.
I’ll probably like take a photo of it though and keep in somewhere. ‘Coz, frankly, the file is ridiculously thick for a single event, and I bring it EVERY SINGLE DAY.
And, oh yeah, our bananas are sponsored... 15KGs! This then means that our cost is cut down by like $50! Which means we don’t have to worry too much about profits and stuff... Because if we claim about $150 from school, our profit only has to be $750 (at least), compared to the initial requirement of $1000, which is relatively do-able.
I still have quite a lot of things I’m quite worried about...
Like whose gonna help me with logistics tomorrow.
And whose gonna come early for homecoming on Saturday, because lots of people wanna come early, and we only have five spots, four, excluding me.
And whether we’re gonna be able to sell all our stuff and meet our target.
And whether the weather’s gonna be antagonistic.
And whether we’ve gotten enough deco for our store, because I doubt it.
And whether the other stalls around us will lower the prices so much we’d be dead from competition.
BUT I REALLY DON’T KNOW WHY I CAN’T JUST GO IN FRONT OF THE CLASS AND CONFIRM ALL THESE FRICKING FEARS.
Of course, it probably has to do with my ridiculously idiotic self-consciousness and the fact that when I speak in front of the class, less than 10% of the class actually listen to me. And I kinda forget what I wanna get across almost as soon as I step in front of the class.
SO.
ANYWAY.
For anyone whose coming for Homecoming,
402’s selling
1) FLOATS - (to-be-named)
2) BANANA SPLITS (+other fruits, mangoes, strawberries)
3) 7 INCH LEGEND (fruit kebabs dipped in chocolate)
I CANNOT wait for Homecoming day to be over, and get rid of the feeling that I FORGOT to do something and that everyone thinks I’m the most ridiculous Functions Head ever and I deserve to be crucified on a stick.
Agh.
And I have no idea if I have CCA tomorrow. =X

Becca thinks April Fool's is funnnnn
LOL.
Today we had our AMath lesson facing the BLACKboard.
Actually, we don't have a blackboard. It was actually our noticeboard, pasted over with black colour paper. Because today, April Fool's, certain members of our class decided to prank Ms. Yeo. So, we had like newspaper cutouts designed to read "Ms. Yeo, We love Maths," or something. And they kinda blocked Ms. Yeo from actually coming in and she had to SIT ON THE FLOOR BY THE STAIRS. When she finally was allowed in, she didn't want to enter the class, and she tried HIDING BEHIND ZHENGLIN. Hilarious. Really. When she got in, we were so disorganized we didn't even manage to convey the message properly and she probably just saw blobs of floating newspaper.
She was like playing along the entire time, and resulted in us having to take the class facing the BLACKboard instead of the whiteboard. She had to write on pieces of rough paper she stole from our class desk, although there was some conflict on her actually writing on the colour paper with her red marker pen at first. (Zhiling: "You decorate the noticeboard yourself, okay!" - which ended whatsoever disputes)
She even spoke upside-down, calling people names backwards. Nick Khaw became Khaw Nick and Wei Kang became Kang Wei, in true Khaw Nick fashion. And all the drama people were not around because they went for FYS. LOL.
She kept going like "Vector OA is NOT (3,4)" and stuff like that. And she kept asking us if we understood, and we kept saying we did, we resulted in her explaining everything repeatedly. Sometimes I got kinda confused, especially when a sentence is too much inverted. Despite us expecting her to make us face the whiteboard as usual, she didn't all the way to the end of the class, where we wished her a bad day and no-thank-you-ed her.
Even for lit we tried to bug Mr. Cheng, but I think he was kinda tired, which made things kinda boring.
Gasper was all for pretending there was this really huge cockroach in front of the class, at an exact time. The girls in front acted really well, screaming and scrambling with their chairs. And all of us were pretending to be chaotic and we were expecting Mr. Cheng to do something...
but all he did was, "All right, children. Game's over."
And the funniest thing was that when he said that, immediately the chaos stopped and we continued our lit lesson. JUST. LIKE. THAT.
Also, Band won GOLD WITH HONOURS!
GOOD JOB BAND!!!!

Apparently.
The guy scholars talk about us girls quite a lot.
Which is freaky.
Especially when they compare notes.
Which is FREAKIER.
Well.
Anyway, they mostly talk about my junior, whose supposedly HAWT.
And some, um, other stuff.
And this is just not just about April Fool's either.

WeiKang.Jolene.Sonal.Daniel
And those who dropped by or stayed partway through.. =D
Vanessa.Shili.Liwen.Chelsea.April.Tangyang.Mengyue.Fenghua
And those who came by late and helped blow/blowup baloons
Zhenglin.Randolph.NichKhaw.Desmond.somerandompeoplewhocameeventhoughitwasn'ttheirstall
Lastly,
