Becca is tired
Went to J8 today. Was planning to go to the library to study but ended up wasting quite a bit of time. Instead of going to the library, we slacked from like 12 to about 2 something. Even then, after we went to the library, there was virtually no space available and we had to squash ourselves to a tiny little corner in front of an utility cupboard. Pathetic really.
Have decided I have graduated from young adult books permanently.
They can't get any shallow/mundane/cliche/idiotic than they already are. Especially books with prissy high school girls from the cusp of the elite society and their dirty little secrets. Pathetic really. And it's kinda sad because the ones who read books are such are 11 year olds, and are still exposed to this sort of soft porn.
Pop culture sucks.
From Twilight to Gossip Girl. Someone shoot me.
Anyway, ate a lot of stuff, bought a lot of junk and is now pretty much broke again. Got Joy's birthday present only to realize most of us won't be around during her actual birthday. I can't tell whether she's going to be happy about it or otherwise, both she and April have very weird views on birthday celebration, after all.
Also went to the arcade to see this guy consecutively pwning the machine and getting a whole array of soft toys. Which is kinda weird because I don't really know what he could possibly do with so many Winnie-the-Poohs/Pinocchios/Mickey Mice and x numbers of mint flavoured mentos sweets. Starting to kinda appreciate the game after I realised there's actually a strategy behind it. I would have tried it though, if the prizes were something other than dust collecting ornaments and teeth rotteners... (though I'll probably would have lost, now that I think about it)
And MT Mid Years is this Thursday. Somehow it doesn't seem as scary as Prelim had previously. And I kinda... flunked prelim. Well, at least the essay section. What really freaks me out is SS, because I seriously suck at it; although I do enjoy the subject unlike a gazillion other people who probably thinks I'm a weirdo for even tolerating it.
...........
Off to read more manga. =D
