Three weird things yesterday
1. The security guard uncle offered to teach me how to dance cha-cha. (the same one who wanted to introduce his son to me... 0_o)
2. Almost all the Malaysian scholars were at Asean Dance.
3. I didn’t eat ANY of the delicious looking pastries at Orchard Hotel. Except that one teeny jam tart.
Okay, the entire thing was pretty cool ‘cause everyone was so hyped up about everything and all. I think those who didn’t dance kinda wasted their money, unless of course they paid to look at pretty girls. Because there were lots of pretty girls but, unfortunately (according to two relatively reliable sources who scoured the area) no good looking guys.
April and I seriously danced non-stop for the entire few hours.
And my feet HURT. Especially because of my 3.5 inch stilettos that I decided to wear. (of which apparently was designed to deter most guys from asking me to dance, or so says Vivath)
But it was fun, really; although my feet feel kinda numb still.
I got like three white roses throughout the entire night. But it’s not anything special or anything, but in fact, pretty hilarious really. First, Vivath got most of the girls roses, me included. At first I was quite happy, as it was white (my fav colour and all) - then Zhehan tried to snatch it from me and broke it. I kinda pretended to be pissed at him so he got me a replacement. And that replacement broke when I hit Vivath with it later on. Then Chin Yue got me another white rose at the end. Which is now it’s rotting on my table. So, extremely funny.
(white roses are pretty)
Seriously though, there were a lot a lot of pretty girls there. And they were all dressed up, and by dressed up I mean plastered with make up and curled hair and stuff.
AND I started the train thinghy! =D Although it was kinda weird, since we did it during the “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night” (title?) by Black Eyed Peas and the chorus took a long time coming. And the dance floor was so squeezed we were forced to stay in the same spot for quite a while.
I think that this year is really going to be one of the memorable years of my life... With all the events with class-bonding and stuff, not even including the class chalet; it turned out waaay better than I expected - especially cause I thought I’d be mugging all year long for O’s.
Oh yeah, my phone got a lot of photos of the previous week(s?) that I still haven’t put up... Cosplay at the comics & games fest, class photo taking (pure Geo group), pics of the guys going crazy before EMaths paper 1 and the like.... I’ll put them up... someday. (probably about the same time CHANGE my blogskin like I said I would)
Watching the Proposal (finally!) on Tues!
And oh, at 12 am...... EVERYBODY SCREAM. =D

FIRST OF ALL.
I WAS SUPPOSED TO WATCH MOVIE WITH ZL, HT AND THE REST.
But they said they were going to watch orphan.
So I chickened out, being the strictly ANTI-HORROR person I was and decided not to go.
And at the end they watch UP, which was what I suggested in the first place.
WALAU!!!!
On another note, talked about what to do after O's.... and we kinda planned quite a few interesting things!
Sunway! (Ice skating + Swimming)
Genting! (2 day + 1 night)
KL City!
*insert-name-of-random-shopping-places-here!*
Although mentioned places are hardly special, having been there gazillionbillionmillion times, we actually chose them because Sonal and Vivath are coming down in KL for a holiday.
(and they're probably going to stay in my house)
Which is kinda cool, 'cause it'd be interesting to show them around and stuff - though I have a feeling that the non-Malay speaking thing might be a small problem.
I think my parents are deliriously happy. They keep asking me to bring back my PRC/Indonesia/Cambodia friends to KL for a holiday. >_>
But whatever.
I also warned them that if they stayed over they're going to get FAT. Well, considering my mum and her habit of stuffing anything edible into practically everyone she sees.
Which reminds me - Henry actually remembered the time my mum said, "Hello everyone. This is my daughter, Rebecca. Please take good care of her."
!!!!
I mean, I don't even remember it. But I suppose she must have said it, since my mum loves to embarrass me in front of every living breathing thing. Like the time in Fokus Minda where my mum practically attacked this poor guy and asked him to be my friend.
I felt so humiliated I blacked out quite a portion of my life there... Only to meet up with Omar a few months later who recognised me (although I didn't him).
Oh no, I'm getting nostalgic again. CANNOT.
PS: I think Kepong's pretty international this year, with two German guys, one Italian(?) girl, one Brazillian(?) and some other random exchange students. Quite cool, wei. =D

Gonna change blogskin tomorrow.
9:31 PM
Whoever it was who told me that compo didn't need practice needs a solid whack on the head.
For one thing, I have noticed I recently lost the ability to write semi-coherently. My thoughts are in a constant jumble, a vortex of disorganised fragments that just didn't seem to want to make sense. I'm starting to be able to construct more sentences in Malay legibly than my "native English", probably considering that I have been constantly been drilled to writing lengthy dreary essays in Malay. I think my English deteriorated quite badly in recent days; a fact brought into the light by my lovely English Paper 2 essay of which I’m pretty sure is excruciating for the examiner to read. And I’m not just talking about my handwriting.
And how do I know this?
Because I probably flunked compo. And I'm not joking.
Look, for paper 1, the part on situational writing, I actually wrote one and a quarter page long. Which is EXTREMELY SHORT. And the thing is, I only wrote three points, whereas everybody and their grandmother complied ALL the points and squashed them into one tiny essay. No surprise I guess, considering my lack of common sense. And I spent so much time trying to write for the second question it probably didn't make sense at all.
It was about gratitude and I wrote about this stoic little boy who didn't show any emotion. And when he was adopted by this lady he finally did.
I mean, what the crap!? I really should have brushed up on my writing, written a few paragraphs or strung a few phrases together in preparation for compo. But being the arrogant stupidhead I was, I didn't. So yay me.
And EMaths was horrible as well. Because when Mr. Lee changed the question for the coordinate geo I already did it, so I didn't pay much attention and just changed a few values here and there - completely NEGLECTING the fact that point D was on the x-axis.
AMATHS WAS SO HORRIBLE I REALLY DON'T EVEN WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.
I would go on and on about every single subject but it'll take too long and too much emotional patience for me to bear.
If you take a peek at other students’ blogs, you realise that most of our lives is centralised around education. Homework, tests, naggy teachers and the like.
It’s as if we know nothing else.

GOING TO COMIC/GAMES FEST THIS SAT!
Yes, I know, prelims in six days.
Yes, I know, O's in 73 days.
But hey, I think we should like spend some time to really relax somehow. Considering that studying non-stop is rather self-destructive.
And I just realised I'm still quite laid back about everything, considering how I take time off everyday to spend some quality time with my laptop and still go out quite often. Quite often, as in, at least twice a week. Which is something, since I come back at about 5 from school almost every day.
Oh, today we had a very interesting Lit lesson. More so than usual, although it had little to do with Lit. (predictable, yeah) Instead of randomly getting distracted in the midst of stating a point, Mr. C actually stayed on ONE topic and talked about it at great lengths. Which was rather enlightening. He talked about how the fastest way to change your social and economical status was through education.
Which, although is true, quite depressing - as he also mentioned it would take a few generations for this to change. Even so, I don't think it's something quite set in stone. Imagine, eventhough you're like completely successful; what if the next generation abhors studying? What if they squander everything you earn? Then again, if you change your socioeconomic status through less than stellar means, it didn't make you any better than you were before.
You'd just be, instead of; a low class guy without money, a low class guy with money.
I suppose, that by itself has some perks.

if i ever, in my entire life; doubted my love for 402,
well,

4 0 2 R O C K S ! ! !
It’s like, seriously the only time EVER we were all so high at one time. Our class is like always quite dead when it comes to class spirit, not that we aren’t united; we usually just can’t be bothered. You can see it whenever we have PE, and our class’ girls will like wander aimlessly in small packs to whatever game we’re playing whilst 03 and 04 will make class cheers.
BUT.
We totally enthu-ed up this time round!!!!
We were like practicing shuttle run, running to and fro in front of the stage whilst screaming our throats out. IT WAS SO COOL. Last year, most of us were sitting down, staring blankly into space but this year totally ROCKED.
Oh yeah, after the celebration, some of us when to eat duck rice. And there was this super duper cute little boy (of whom Shili apparently has pedophilic designs on) who was alternating staring at me and staring at Shili. So I said “hello.” then his father said, “say hello to jiejie,” then the little kid stunned for a while.
The he said, “hello aunty.”
WALAU.
Then his father apologised, (in chinese) “Sorry, the boy only knows he got one jiejie, so everyone else is aunty.”
Then later on, he said, “byebye aunty.”
*sobs*
I don’t look that old, okay!!!!

A lot of things happened for the past three days.
But I'm too lazy to blog about it.
Managed to finish most of my homework, namely Physics and Chem other school papers, one Emaths paper and Lit stuff; which is surprising because I wasn't even *at home* for more than a day.
Hm. I should go study something now.
